First look: ‘The Hong Konger: Jimmy Lai’s Extraordinary Struggle for Freedom’ trailer

“I owe freedom my life.”

The Chinese government wants him silenced, but Jimmy Lai’s fight for freedom in Hong Kong in far from done. 

We are currently working on a documentary film about Jimmy’s life and his dedication to the cause of freedom. You can view the trailer for that film, The Hong Konger: Jimmy Lai’s Extraordinary Struggle for Freedom, here. The film is due out in 2022.

About the Speaker

Eric Kohn is director of communications at the Acton Institute. In that role, he works to bring Acton’s vision of a free and virtuous society characterized by individual liberty and sustained by religious principles to a wider audience. Prior to joining Acton, Eric was director of community management at the Illinois Policy Institute, one of the nation’s premier state-based think tanks. He was also the founder and CEO of Curious Task Strategies, a public affairs consulting firm.
